I got back outside with my old mentor Alex taking photos in and around Brindley place and Ladywood with Cody. As an aspiring photographer one thing I can’t stress enough is how important it is to work with other photographers in your local area! They help with building your confidence, help you to develop your own personal style. And often help with locations you probably hadn’t even dreamed about. Not only that building relationships with other photographers often leads to work. If they know you’re good at something and need a second photographer for a shoot chances are they pop up and ask if your available.
The beautiful thing about Birmingham is how many talented individuals we have in the area, most of the photographers you find are pretty friendly and often looking to do collaborations or group meets like the guys from Igers Birmingham, wasp (we all shoot photos) and the UK shooters groups.

This is actually the first time I’ve ever worked with Cody. I’ve followed his Instagram for a while I know he’s done some work and been published by Hoodrich UK and Kawala Nation working with Oliver Payne. Alex has worked with him numerous times and the photos always come out looking spectacular. So keep an eye out for when they get uploaded.
