I’ve been so excited about this event since I heard about it. Raw studios have been great for me as a new photographer in the area. The studio isn’t expensive helping me to book in with them and not have to charge over the top prices to clients that are trying to build a portfolio for the first time. Not only that they’re in the perfect location situated right behind Chameleon web services where I spend most of my days when I’m not in a studio.
other than the Raw studios being one of my favourite places to shoot, they’ve got a great line up with Phil Baro, Rachel Perera and Ellie Dale with nearly 16,000 followers between them they’re all people to learn a lot from. Not to mention the amount of incredible photographers I was expecting to see!

The above photos are of Phil, such a great guy not only a an awesome model to shoot with but a great photographer (his Instagram link), while there he shared a few stories of events he’d taken photos of explaining just how much work goes into wedding photography, different camera preferences and setups. A great charismatic model that’s always making jokes and in the short time I was shooting with him seems to be a fun guy to always have around! He’s edited and worked with some inspiring photographers like Connor Walker (@kleurportraits) and Gareth Welch (@gwvis) not to mention all the fantastic up and coming brands Phil has worked with if you don’t have pictures of him in your portfolio your missing out!

Meet Rachel Perera, a true creative singer, actor model, photographer and Business woman. There really isn’t much anything this beautiful lady can’t do. She’s also the mastermind behind all of the Raw networking events connecting photographers to models and models to agencys if your in the industry this is certainly a person you want to know. Personally I enjoyed taking portraits of Rachel I’m still working on my ability to direct models to get those great shots and Rachel really shows off her great personality with a magnitude of different poses off the cuff. A real talent that you can tell has years worth of experience.
