Monday Night RAW gets a new low while the B-Shows flourished on ratings and quality.

Hmm…. What could I say about Monday Night Raw that wouldn’t hurt my really sensitive wrestling fan heart? Uhh… Nothing. It’s literally one of the worst shows this year. The build-up, the inconsistency of the booking and straight up, for whoever have to suffer those 3 hours that around 30 minutes of it filled with the advertisement. I truly understand how horrible that must feel.

The show is truly infested with a ton of sudden, meaningless, whatever you want to call it, segments. Braun VS Finn felt forced. Same with another match that I totally forgot who’s in it. Moving on from that, Sami Zayn promo against Bobby Lashley. Everyone who ever watched WWE knows how this feud is gonna end at Money in the Bank. Lashley will squash Zayn and go on with his pretty much lackluster return after a decade of absence. Nia and Ronda segment is kinda entertaining, to say the least. I’m not gonna lie. At the very least, this will make me want to watch their title match but I’m not gonna come in with a huge expectation.

The B-Team comedy segments are entertaining although I found it almost pointless and can be replaced with womens action or something. It truly undermining the number of talents that they have on RAW right now. Jinder Mahal and Seth Rollins were decent as I expected from these two. It gave a good showing and that surprise attack at the end by Elias is pretty interesting. I’m intrigued with what they are going to do with this feud going from now and then we skipped to another match to buries Chad Gable to the ground against the untouchable duo which is Drew Mcintyre and Dolph Ziggler which of course, Chad loses. I enjoy both Drew and Dolph’s work but it doesn’t justify of burying this young up and comer. Lastly, the women’s qualification gauntlet match to qualify for the MITB (stands for Money in the Bank) match. I’m gonna say it felt too rushed. It had the chance to be a really good match but I could tell that the higher-ups in the back don’t share my opinions. The decision to let Sasha wins instead of Ruby Riott which is a different breed of a female superstar is underwhelming, to say the least. I don’t have a problem with Sasha being in it but Ruby seems like a very good choice for me.

This is also very disappointing for me because out of all shows that WWE spoon fed me every single week, RAW is the one that I always excited to see. It’s the flagship show of the company. Plus, it has my favorite female wrestler in this time, Alexa Bliss so that helps a bit. But back to the point, RAW has been on a very rocky situation ever since Wrestlemania. They didn’t utilize the champions as well…. Champions. Nia Jax which is the current RAW women’s champion has been absent for at least 2 weeks from the show which is very concerning how much faith does WWE have on her. Brock Lesnar of course, is not gonna be in attendance until Summerslam. Which makes RAW only left with 3 titles to present to the viewers while SD Live, 205 Live and even NXT just blown RAW out of proportion just by the sheer quality of the stuff that they were able to come up with. The amazing match that Buddy Murphy (who is Alexa’s fiancé for who don’t know) and Cedric Alexander have on 205 Live to the great Triple Threat match on Smackdown Live. I truly hope WWE gets their thoughts together and better come up with something for their precious “flagship show” if not it’s going to fail as soon as possible.
